The current resident on the desk at the moment is Herbfarmacy’s Lip Nurse. It feels sooo nice on the lips. It is just the right consistency – smooth and buttery but not so soft that it loses its shape.
This balm is more of a treatment balm, perfect for those prone to cold sores or sore dry lips. Great coming into the winter months when lips quite often bear the brunt of cold weather and central heating extremities.
Sunflower seed oil, beeswax and cocoa seed butter make up the body of the balm. These will all hydrate, nourish and protect lips. Then lots of herbs and essential oils are added in for extra support. Mullein flower extract and marshmallow are used to soften and soothe. Tea tree, lemon balm and lavender are used to calm, soothe and heal sore lips. You don’t have to have sore lips to use it mind you, any lip can benefit from this product.
The balm does have a smell but very gentle and not overpowering, just a combination of the lovely ingredients. There is a very slight taste should you eat any, but the balm is 100% organic and Soil Association certified so not a problem if you do! 😉
At £5 it is a really good price point too. It is a good size as well, a little chunkier than your average tube so feels a bit more substantial, also easier to find at the bottom of your bag/pocket etc..
